Volunteer with Meenorio. We need more hands than we can pay.

Why Volunteer?

Meenorio is building evidence-based herbal medicine for Pakistan. Several pieces of that work — translations, community outreach, awareness camps, content review — don't have a clear commercial payoff and don't qualify for venture-style staffing. They qualify for volunteer work because they matter to the people doing them, not just to the company.

We don't pretend volunteering with us is glamorous. It's useful. You'll know the work mattered because you'll meet the people it helped.

Volunteer Tracks

Translation Review (Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi)

Help review AI-generated translations of Meenorio's product information, blog content, and educational materials. We don't ask you to translate from scratch — that's a paid translator's job. We ask you to read AI translations and flag where the language feels awkward, the cultural framing is off, or a critical word was mistranslated.

  • Time commitment: 2–4 hours per week, flexible
  • Skill needed: native-speaker fluency in one of Urdu / Punjabi / Sindhi (we support all three)
  • Tooling: Crowdin or similar — we set up your access; you review per-segment
  • Recognition: volunteer reviewer credits in the translated content's About section, if you wish

Community Outreach (Awareness Campaigns)

Help spread awareness about diabetes and pre-diabetes in your community — workplace, mosque, family network, social circles. Distribute educational materials (printed leaflets, digital shareables), share survey links, host informal awareness conversations.

  • Time commitment: 4–8 hours per month, flexible
  • Skill needed: social comfort, willingness to talk about a stigmatised health topic
  • Tooling: we send pre-printed leaflets to your address; we provide digital materials via WhatsApp
  • Recognition: active volunteer status on Meenorio's volunteer page (if you opt in)

Diabetes Camp Organisation

Help organise free HbA1c testing camps in underserved communities. Either as on-the-ground organiser (your city / region) or as remote logistics support (lab coordination, materials shipping, follow-up data entry).

  • Time commitment: 8–20 hours per camp, ~1 camp per quarter
  • Skill needed: organisational ability; medical training is helpful but not required
  • Tooling: we provide partner-lab agreements, healthcare-worker briefings, materials kits
  • Recognition: camp-organiser credit in our quarterly transparency report

Content Creation (Blog, Social, Educational)

Write blog posts, create social media content, design educational graphics. We're particularly looking for Pakistani healthcare professionals (doctors, dietitians, nurses, public-health workers) willing to contribute clinically-credible content.

  • Time commitment: per piece
  • Skill needed: writing, design, or healthcare professional credentials
  • Tooling: we provide editorial guidance, brand guidelines, ingredient research summaries
  • Recognition: bylined credit on contributed content; clinical contributors are eligible for the partnership programme if they wish

How to Volunteer

Email volunteer@meenorio.pk with:

  • Your name and city
  • Which track(s) interest you
  • Available hours per week or month
  • Languages spoken (especially for translation review)
  • Any relevant background (medical, design, organising, etc.)

We respond to all volunteer inquiries within 5 business days with next steps.

What We Promise Volunteers

  • Real work, not busywork. Every volunteer task connects to a measurable outcome (a translation shipping, a camp held, a community reached).
  • Clear scope. No "do-everything" volunteer roles. You commit to a specific track and time commitment.
  • Reasonable response times. We respond to your messages within 1–2 business days. If we go quiet, send us a follow-up — we'd rather be reminded than have you drift.
  • Recognition where you want it. Public credit by default; anonymous volunteering is also fine.
  • Free Metabo-101 for active volunteers. If you're managing diabetes or pre-diabetes yourself and contribute regularly, we ship you Metabo-101 at no cost.

What We Don't Do

  • We don't ask volunteers to do customer service. That's paid staff work.
  • We don't ask volunteers to make medical claims or diagnose patients in awareness camps. We pair you with healthcare workers; you do logistics + outreach.
  • We don't sell volunteer contact information. Your email and contact details are not shared, marketed to, or used for product promotion beyond volunteer-relevant communication.
